Frequently Asked Questions

DOES A 5 HOUR BOOKING INCLUDE SETUP AND PACK UP IN THE 5 HOURS?

No. We allow 2 hours setup prior to the start time and up to 1 hour for pack up so a 5 hour package is for 5 hours of music/announcements/speeches etc.

CAN I EXTEND THE TIME OF THE FUNCTION WHILE IT IS HAPPENING IF NEEDED?

Definitely! Just approach your DJ 15 minutes or more before the end. Extra hours will need to also be paid for at that time.

CAN I MEET THE DJ TO DISCUSS THE MUSIC AND FORMAT?

Yes. You can make an appointment to meet with the DJ and depending on location they will come to you, meet halfway or you may also meet at the DJ’s residence. Due to lack of time or long distances to travel some clients are happy to discuss and organise the format and music via phone and emails.

CAN I HAVE LESS LIGHTING IF I DON’T WANT IT ALL?

You sure can. Just let us know what lighting you don’t require.

HOW SOON BEFORE MY FUNCTION DO I NEED TO BOOK?

Some months are extremely busy and book out fast, especially for weddings, so it’s advisable to book as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed. It’s not unusual for wedding bookings to be made 6 months or even up to a year in advance.

HOW DO I GO ABOUT BOOKING MY FUNCTION?

Email or call us anytime and after we have the required details from you we can generate a contract. This is then emailed or posted to you with a stamped self-addressed envelope and we give you two (2) weeks to return the contract signed with a $100.00 deposit.

WHEN DOES THE WEDDING FORMAT GUIDE NEED TO BE FILLED OUT AND RETURNED?

Once you are confident of the format and music for your reception either post the format guide back or email with the online version. Your DJ will help with this and give any ideas needed.

WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY FUNCTION

The deposit will need to be paid within two (2) weeks of booking however the remainder can be paid on the week leading up to your function.
We accept cash, cheque, money order or direct deposit into our bank account either online or by going into a branch.
